It happened to me once, & i couldn't figure out what's the cause of the sudden deaths of all my fishes.

When my fishes all died, I just washed the tank throughly, filled it up with water & added chlorine. After adding chlorine, i'll let it soak for weeks before rinsing it out & add antichlorine after that before starting out new.

    I dont have a pic guys .
Using a large hanging filter white sponge(change every week) , no plants nor gravel. no decorations
    2- feet tank
every week i change 50% water , after i siphon the water, i ll add anti chlorine and aquarium salt wait for 10 mins before i pump in fresh water. been doing this for a year but nth wrong with the GF only recently

Still dont understand why they suddenly died.

Could it be the hot water? The constant change in water temperature may be the cause... just guessing.

You may want to try just washing with normal water.

Best thing to do is to wash down the tank and filters.
I think salt water does help a certain extend.
And restart the while process all over again.

i always boil lemons ( squeeze all the juice and boil the skin )

add salt , the more concentrated the better . let it soak the whole tank for 2 hours .

then wash with warm water . i will also use those kind of scrub ( used for washing plates - new one of course ) to scrub the walls of the insides

repeat the process if you like

will kill most of the germs . but remember never ever use chemicals to clean !
