New Member Saying Hello

Hi All,

I am new to this forum a look forward to sharing knowledge and experience with you all (mostly providedby yourselves - it has to be said).

I live in the UK and I look after a 90l planted community aquarium for my 7 year son. We have a good selection of fish and a few shrimps. I am becoming more and more interested in unusual varities of shrimp but they are very difficult to source in the UK.

I also look after a cold water tank for my 6 year old son, this currently houses some golden apples snails but we are probably gong to expand this in the near future.

Nice to meet you both - I know it is a bit of a lame excuse isn't it. But in my defence the tanks where given to the kids by my wife’s cousin - So it is the perfect cover.

My seven-year-old son goes halves with me on the cost of any new livestock for HIS tank but I must admit that I get as much pleasure for the tank as the kids - some might even say I have become a little bit obsessed.
