hi all,
flybaits from Singapore. Totally new in aqua planting stuffs n looking forward to learn n share.
Currently, reading Diana Walstad's Ecology of Aquarium Plants and hope to do a low tech without co2 addition, soil as substrates, no cleaning, feed all u can to the fish ala diana's tank( is that possible??? lol!) in the future. good luck to me.
recovering from an algae attack in my 4ft x 2ft x 2ft, by recruiting 2 baby plecos n 2 golden algae eater....... with some ghost shrimps....hmmmm.... 16 now-and-still-goin-strong(saw 2 with eggs-yummy!) shrimps and a 2ft x 1ft tank full of hungry life bearers (and in fact few are now bearing babies) to 'service' my algaed trimmed/plucked fauna n mosses. not possible with snails as i have 2 very active clown loaches.
my 4ft looked like a war zone now but at least algae are gettin lesser by the day.Thats all for now bout me.
Cheers!!!
me,
flybaits
