I did some research on it before as I was considering it for my 422 (2x EX120). It's a good brand and though new under the Tetra label, has been in the US for some time under the MarineLand label. It's quite popular and reviews are generally good. however, what made me decide on eheim is that there are a few quite bad reviews found via google, and spare parts aren't easily available. NA sells the spare parts, but Chan told me he doesn't keep a ready supply and has to order them from Rainbow.

That being said, given that it's less than 1/2 the price of an equivalent Eheim, it might be worth a try due to the generally good reviews and the fact that Tetra/Marineland are good brands overall.

Thank alot Bro for sharing, after reading on your inputs,i guess the problems now is mainly more on the availability of its spare parts but since u say NA could order upon request maybe its really worth a try

As spoken i think spare parts is an issue for Tetra in Singapore. It's more limited unlike Eheim.

Anyway Eheim work flawless for me and for many people. It's been proven and has good resale value. Tetra is a bit cheaper than Eheim but i willingly to pay a bit more for the reliability.

In fact all my eheim is used set bought from forum and all are working very well since day one. Some parts are faulty but i can easily buy the spare parts and the spare parts price are reasonably priced i would say.

I am currently using a Tetra Ex75 for my 2 feet. Features that I like is the priming button which allows the user to use for the purging of air out of the system. Also are the numerous catches and long transparent hoses.

Very silent and its great value for money.

im currently using an EX120 for my 4fter. Slient, comes with 2 rainbars. Primes by itself and lets the air out. 4 instead of the usual 2 catches that hold the powerhead down. Really value for money i would say! All filter media provided! eheim doesn't have any or maybe minimal, (Certain models). i found the detachable hose really good, especially when moving it around. I've only used jebo tho don't know about the rest.
