Years back I was hooked to Red Alert and got the kick out of playing the Russians instead of the Americans. Brute force was my main strategy and needless to say my army always suffered massive losses..
It was really a fun game.

Yes, I am a fan of franchise. This is the game which made me volunteer to stay back in camp during the weekend when I was in NS a decade ago. Some of the title I have yet to complete such as C&C 3. Not a good game player I think.
As for Doom, not a fan really. I do play FPS genre game but WW2 types are my favourite. Don't like the futuristic type FPS game.

Haha I played both last time but with old computer now could not even dare to buy any latest game.
Like you I did not really try other C&C games like Tiberium series but still very much prefer Generals and RA.
Got adrenalin rushing when sending hordes of Mammoth Tanks overrunning enemy bases!! Hehe
Did you try Company of Heroes then? It was rather refreshing with a new type of game play.
