Ok! Intend to add them to my 4ft tank. Hopefully they will not eat my tetras and disturb my apistogrammas.

Cbong, Experienced altum going for the otos and got stuck. Lost a few altums before this way. So might want to consider removing the otos when your altums get a little bigger.

ok, good idea. Altums are really hungry fishes all the time. Keep plucking out my foreground plants.

Do i see Echinodorus Rubin!? If so, whats your experiences with this plant. I plan to add it to my 3ft Jack Dempsey tank, although the narrow leaved variety i plan to get.

I think i'm becoming an Echinodorus Lover

My my how daft of me, just realised this Echinodorus Rubin in your tank is actually that of the narrow leaf variety. I might get both now

Definitely an Echinodorus, but not sure if its Rubin?! Here in Singapore, there are many species and I had stopped the recognition test, just plant what I like Rather easy plant to keep

Got them from a well known aquarium at Neo Tiew... best in Singapore!!! Good acclimatisation and quarantine prog before being sold, very important to prevent attrition. Had them for 1 year w/o problem. not cheap though... about $100 a pc when they were still juveniles!
