Usage of Mosura Mineral PLus

Hi Guys,

Any of you know how to use the mosura mineral plus? My tank is already 2 weeks of cycling and still got 1 more week for me to intro the crs. But from the instruction of the bottle i still abit blur how must i dose it. Do i pour according to the amount that my tank require for new tank?

You can use the general dosing method 1ml of MP for 5 litre of water. Pour everything in if there is no live stock. If there is livestock, divide the needed portion into 3 portions and 1 day 1 portion, add slowing into the tank.

For the advanced user, increase the GH to 3 to 5 or use TDS meter to get around 100 to 120ppm.

For water change, you need to dose the amount of MP for the amount changed, and not for the whole tank water.

This is my first time using this mineral plus so what should I do? Currently i have 8 otocinclus and some moss in the tank so do i divide the needed portion into 3 portions and 1 day 1 portion, add slowing into the tank?

What is a TDS meter? it measure ppm?

Yes, 1 day 1/3 of the dosage.

TDS measure the total dissolved solids in the water, Mosura Mineral Plus increase the total mineral and also GH, some practise measure TDS of the water to measure all the minerals for a known CRS water corrector like Mosura Mineral Plus.

By adding salt will increase TDS to any value you want, but it does not product the same result as by adding Mineral Plus.
