    Hi everyone,

I had been thinking about how to improve on the centre scape of my 1ft. Finally decided to do a major rescape of my 1ft which is about 3weeks old.

This is the link to my old scape. http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=46225

The centre scape will be totally be replace by a "Y" shaped driftwood. Although it is not a natural Y shape. Brought this piece of wood from Seaview.

After soaking and do a boiling of the driftwood. Today i decided to do the major re-scape.

Attached on the Y-shape is Spiky moss and there is 2 "extension wood" both is tied with Taiwan Moss. Attached is the photo of the current scape.

After doing major scape, i found out that the rock that i used for my last scape took up lots of space. Now i have more space for me to plant and not so cramp. I think there is more rooms for improvements like adding more plants to the scape. Any suggestions?

Certainly an improvement on the last scape. Well done! I like the nana mixed with moss then HG around the base. When this fills out it'll look good. Have you concidered perhaps another pot of HC to help spread along the bottom? The back left corner with what looks Blyxa may look a bit out of place once the tank matures. Depends how the plant itself fills out and how tall it gets.

    Otherwise good scape

Thanks Verminator. Currently i have 4 patchs of HC at the bottom, however they seems don't spead or creep. I am not too sure it is because of the lights not strong enough or the temp not cold enough. As for the back left corner, Blyxa, i do agree they will grow Wild. :P Going to search for information on how to trim them when they matures. Otherwise, i will be pulling some of them out and replace with Rotala.

Like to update everyone here for my set up for my Aspito pair. Had added a cave at the left hand corner of the tank, the cave is surrounded by Byxia. Hopefully that Byxia will be able to hide the cave once they started to grow tall.

My male Aspito had already shifted to his new home. The female is still in the old tank as they spawn and the female is guarding the babies.

My next project will be De-comp the old and smaller tank, once the female had shifted over to the new tank. The old tank will be re-scape into shrimp tank, with 3 sides will be moss wall. As for the floor-bed, will be planted with Hairgrass.
But i can't start now as all budget spend on my 1ft.
