2) 5w light
3) moss on driftwood (buy from Petmart)
4) black colour gravel (given free from bro xiane)
5) No fert
6) 10 cherry shrimp (brought from bro xiane)
Open to all comment, we are here to share and make our tank more better. Sharing is caring (lols..learn this word from bro xiane)

different from others...
but what is the white thing there? looks like a tomb stone..
I would remove that..
but I wouldnt remove the small note on the tank![]()
if you can find those mini taiwan moss plant around the tomb stone.. then it will really look like grave yard....
it will be nice.....
There nothing you cant do, is whether you want to do it or not.
hi,
i love it, nice and neat set-up. if it's my tank, i'll put black oyama background to enhance colour contrast and to conceal your equipments at the back of tank.
remove or place white slab behind driftwood to conceal it if it's for any purpose other than decoration....haha.
cheers,
thank all for the nice advice and comment, hahah ya i also think the stone look like a tomb stone :-) will remove it once i go back office tomorrow .....
Hey, nice nice.
You have a nice piece of wood there with well grown moss.
Hope the shrimps will do well for you.
As the others mention, it will be good to get a mesh or stocking for the filter inlet so that when the shrimps start to multiply they won't be sucked in.
yeah, sharing is caring
Have fun. Cheers
nice setup. The mineral rock you can lay it down flat instead of upright.
As for the driftwood, have you tried turning it around facing the front, see if its nicer as the other would have bigger surface of moss...![]()
ya I did try turn it around but not nice, that why place it that way now. Will try to lay down the mineral rock and see how it go, or just take it out totally.
Update of my office tank....
Stone rock place lying..
Shrimps doing good at new tank, shrimps start to change shell.....
Hi, maybe can place a black cardboard at the back of the tank, which will be similar to the effect of oyama background. Then you can tuck the excess cables at the back of the tank so that you desk will look neater. Have fun...![]()
aahaha... i like the "SEE NO TOUCH PLEASE"
haha well, office tank must die die paste those Note , else sure alots of itchy hands touch when they see cute shrimp
Hee... Hee.. bro, I like the 'See No Touch' sign also... [Maybe you'd like to redo a piece & then laminate it to waterproof it?? "See Can, Touch Cannot! Catch Die!!"]
Guess the colleagues in your office should be able to understand the sign right? Unless they are like those primary school kids...
Rgards.
PS: Your moss on DW looks like a overhanging cliff... Nice!!![]()
ya, got to redo the piece of note, ..i brought that moss on Driftwood at Petmart for $12/-, found it very nice shape too.
Simple & yet nice! Agree with bro Merviso, add a piece of dark cardboard as its background.. It'll look even better![]()
To Love & To Forgive...
first look, the driftwood looks like the last obstacle of SOC to me.. where u have to do war cry and jump off the slope. (forgot the name of the obstacle already =)
anyway, interesting looking tank you have there.
yeah, the obstacle of SOC that last rundown, and must scream out loud while jumping, usually after reach ground no more power to run.
Your company so goooood....
Now is recession still got time to do this, bet you are very brave.
