erm.. whats the point of this thread? carrying egg does not means that its breeding.. the egg released as shrimplets and shrimplets manage to grow up to adult shrimps will then be considered as successfully bred.
my 2 cents..

i think plant talk is sharing with us that it is also possible to have CRS shrimps breeding in a non chiller tank? Thanks for sharing. Can share with us more on the progress of this tank and stuffs? would like to know more
My tank set up is for cherry shrimp and Sakura. I try to mix with tiger, blue, bee and grade A B C CRS shrimp. Cherry, Sukura and tiger doing well. CRS okay but colour not nice. Blue and Bee cannot do well.
My tank is 2feet by 1feet with a internal filter. No CO2.All low light plant. PH was 7-7.2 .
This is the first time I saw CRS has got egg so no experience in it.
Once awhile we're newbies at something or other and will ask or report something 'newbie-ish'. It is up to the experienced ones to share or not at all....
To threadstarter, it looks bleak but best of luck, who knows?
FYI I've never been sucessful breeding bee shrimp in this temperature.
Suckerfish no eat poo poo.
Hi there,
thanks for sharing! breeding crs A, B ,C grade at the temperature you quoted is definitely possible. However, i will suggest if you can improve your filtration system as an internal filter might not be sufficient for an able filtration system. Decrease your pH to 6.5 too if possible!
Regards!
Adoketa, Breitbinden, Paciquamis, Diplotaenia, Elizabethae, Mendezi, Inka, Agassizi, L046, L066, Crystal Red Shrimps
I am trying to clear all my fish in another tank that is using a better filter system and move the shrimps there.
recently i saw my male crs chasing female sakura shrimps during their mating stance.![]()
Able to show some photos of your tank?
