    You can get a 500VA UPS for around $80 - $100 these days.

    Can try Best Bargain on 5th floor Sim Lim Square (back row, forget unit number) they also have pretty good prices on all kinds of memory sticks.

    UPS? I don't think it is necessary.
    Just buy some battery operated air pumps and batteries will do, cheap, simple and hassle free.(Cost <$7/set).Good enough to keep livestocks alive.

    battery air pump may help, but for crs tank,....UPS may better.

    I think 500VA is good enough if connected to the most essential equipment:
    pump/filter - 10W to 30W (depending on capacity)
    a SMILE goes a LONG way....
