Hi Michua,
First post and it is to tell us you're giving up your hobby? That's a real shame.
From what you've wrote, it is time rather than space right? Have you considered going for a low maintenance setup?

Hi All,
I have a planted tank for the last 3 years and it was a great experience ... from zero to all green ..
Now with 2 kids in the house, I have to give up this hobby to spend more time with them.
Hence I have a complete 2.5 ft planted tank with fish/shrimp/C02 accessories to give away (Yes, FOC). The only catch is that you will need to arrange manpower to move it from Pasir Ris.
Will you be interested?

hi michua, your 1st post and so sad...... why not keep both - i mean your kids and tank. teach your kids and wife to enjoy and appreciation nature as you enjoy it. i am sure your 'love nature' genes will be passed on to your kids. maybe you can spend less time maintaining your tank; possibly changing to low maintainance stuff or something. love nature can be a family thing..... yes

Hi,
Thanks for the encouragement ... yes, I have actually make it to a low maintenance tank ... getting slow grow plants, small tetras that does not need live food, sae and yamato to control agae, even water change was set to every 3 weeks ....
But lately due to kids needing attention and also new work commitment, I have not choice but to give it up.
Hope i will pick it up again when they are older ...

Welcome to AQ
Hope to see you back in the hobby in the near future.
Cheers
Nicholas
