Hi just like to check with the fellow crs fanatics out here..
do the pregnant crs eggs change colour when they are about to hatch?
I can't see the eggs clearly but they don't seem as red...
and it has been around 3 weeks but they have not hatched... however i think the female still carries the eggs... would the shrimplets be visible upon hatching?
and 1 last question, is shrimplet food necessary? will normal crs food be adequate?

    thanks

i think they need 3 to 4 weeks to hatch, cooler temperature take longer, the eggs will turn lighter in color when nearing hatching period.

Generally, you dont need special food to feed shrimplets, but if the survival rate is poorer if you have lots of shrimplets hatching at the same time, you may want to use Mosura Bioplus to increase microorganism in your tank as newly born shrimplets eat microorganism.
