hi,
just joined this forum not so long ago.
am quite impressed with the activity here currently.
just to say hello to all.
am from singapore.
keen on quite a no of tropical fishes, only freshwater though. Haven't dare venture into the marine world.
fishes breeding include discus, bettas, ciclids, angels, and a few others.
but think getting myself into too many types, master of none.
Am currently trying to set up a small tank for plants. Am preparing the things like co2, lighting, fert soil etc, but needs lots of guidance hopefully from bros and sisters here.
I have done the common ones like ferns, mossess, but now only keen to keep a small manageable tank of about 1ft with plants like downoi and ericaulon (?correct spelling), but failed miserably with the downoi as the snails knocked them out before i got a chance to try my skills. But i will get another one again and maybe the "gujing".
Hope u guys can give me tips on the latter plant especially.
That's it for now.
cheers.

Hi Will33!
When I first got into planted I wasn't much better either...
"Melt" was the operative word for most plants I tried my hand at!
But when you get that first "success"... WOW!
So don't stop trying while you journey into planted setups.
