Hi there! What's the frequncy of their feedings per day? Types of diets?
My bettas hatched 3 months ago and the largest fry is only about 2cm... what should I do? I do a 40% water change every two days and feed them with frozen blood worms 2 - 3 times a day. They all have colouring like and adult...just the size is small.
Can they still grow? If so how to speed up their growth
Thanks

To Love & To Forgive...
I feed them two times a day, alternating from frozen blood worms and crushed Betta pellets everyday
Not only the feeding matter,
There also a few other factors as well from my past experience (few months) the following also make the different:
The size of the spawning tank (Bigger better)
The amount of fry in the tank
The period of water change
This is what I realised will various the growth of frys,
butdo correct me if i'm wrong as you can see my experience is only a few months.

Hey, I started changing more water whenever I changed the water and some fry are already starting to grow faster.
Water changes is the main and most important. 3 to 4 days with 50% change will be fine. As mentioned earlier by bro nature beauty, tank space provided to them also have to be considered. Only change the tank for the fries only when they are at least 15 days old. Do take note of this..
To Love & To Forgive...
Not to worry...the fry have just past two months of age so I do not think that it could harm the fry in any way.
The fry are living in a spacious environment as this is my first spawn and therefore the lack of experiences have left only a fraction of the fry
left.
That is pretty normal. You might not want to keep so many also in the end normally breeder will keep a few pair they consider the best n worth keeping and sell/ give the rest.
A good 30 ~ 40 will be a healthy patch for each spawn. Do keep in mind on this few things while spawning it will make you a happier betta keeper.
1 - What is the objective of the spawn? (Going for colour, finage or etc?)
2 - How many do you intend to keep?
3 - What are you going to do with the rest of the spawn?
Hope this will help you a little in your future spawn!

What is the ideal space for a 50 pieces sprawn?? 2 ft fish tank enough?
2 ft will be good but no for long cause they will grow.....

Frys release hormones that inhibit growth in a bid to out-compete each other.
So water changes are crucial.

feed them few more times a day and change the water more often...
