Experienced too much death, on too many occasions after using live worms from shops.

When I feed good quality dry food, LFS hate it because my fish lives forever

In normal times I'll stay clear of live food. But when fishes like discus is not feeling well and experience loss of appetite, I find that using live food will help stir their appetites.

are frozen bloodworms more pathogen free than live bloodworms?? aren't they all bloodworms? do they process frozen ones more throughly? is there additional substances added in the process that might be harmful for our fishes?

they freeze dry them and normally go through process of sterilization and purification . thus free from harmful germs

Hikari says so on their website. I think it's printed on the package too.

If you're looking for live food, I would advise going for live brine shrimps instead. They can be found easily too.
