Yo bro.....I think the easiest way is to ask David Copperfield or Blaine to assist you.

Just kidding.....I think you may like to consider removing your livestock temporary to a smaller tank or container using the existing tank water and add some existing plants with them.

Try to syphon out the water from tank to pail...or big tub. (Make sure you wash it clean and soap free). Then shift your tank to stand and transfer back your water and livestocks.

I feel it's quite risky to move your tank with water and substrate..etc filled. The tank may crack if you did not handle properly. You may not want to take such risk.

    Just a thought.

    stillife has provided good suggestions.

    how big is your tank?
before moving the tank, you'll need to reduce the weight as much as possible.
draining the water and remove anything that is easily removed would be help a lot.

    Thats a good one

9kg of soil, I guess your tank probably around 2ft. Anyway, regardless your tank size, your scape will be a mess if you move with water still in it.

9ks soil inside. I think you can empty water to bare min level, and move the tank. It is not that heavy.

    Cheers, Christophe

Oh i shifted mine before. Just empty almost all the water. When i did mine the plants, fishes, moss wall were still inside. They survived the process but aligning the tank on the styrofoam will pose a threat. Haha so better to get a helper.
