Catch them from the reserves...I got mine behind SBG
The purpose of a reserve is to retain populations, as a method of ensuring survival of a habitat. Capturing creatures to become pets is as helpful as hunting in a reserve. I can't say it sounds to ethical to me.

So are you going to release it back to the wild after you nurse it back to health?

brother, try not to catch wild ones. singapore's native frogs already depleting severely from the introduction of american bullfrog. if u want, catch some american bullfrogs to eat, dont catch four-lined treefrog.
Guys.
If you see an animal in and around a nature reserve that you do think is rather thin and weak, please dont 'rescue' it. It is thin and weak for a reason. This will be the food for another, healthier animal. Please dont take food away from animals, or take the animals home. You may also introduce disease.
Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.
