Not bad at all!! But the rocks look strangely out of place. I assume that's to weigh the wood down?

Actually, I would prefer to keep the wood off centre. Now it sits squarely in the middle.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

after 1 month of setup.. here is a little update..

wonder if it is because the light not strong enough...

    APP is growing upwards..

if they don't grow well, think I'll remove them..

I think your app growing upwards is because they are reaching for the light.

    Nice wood.

Yea, light levels for your APP are not enough. Remove them for more moss instead?

Bro you can get sae from C328, polyart, NA or Seaview. They do carry some stocks.

hmm.. How much light do you have in your 2 ft tank? Looks like the plants are reaching up. Might want to consider plants with lower light requirements.

any intention of letting e.ten to take over the foreground? Leaving the app there as it is somehow instills a wild look in the tank.

taking out the APP will be a better choice?
maybe can use it for the other tank.. plant the APP inbetween the pebbles and see how..
I will let the Tenellus grow there by its own then.. :P
think they will take over my gu zing then...

i think take out app..otherwise will have algae problems sooner or later. E.ten + app both fast-growers, soon they will over-crowd out the bottom.

Recently I tried to have the timer turn on at 7am to around 8am so that I can see and feed my fishes before going to work(wonder if this should carry on) and switched on the light again at 6pm till 12midnight.
I suspect the timer did not off yesterday morning.. so the plants has more then 12 hours of light starting from 7 am till 12 midnight!
My german ferns and moss are bubbling like crazy... same goes for other plants... I also noticed that my CO2 is about 1 bubble per 3 sec which is more frequent then normal.. :>

Attached are the pictures of the bubbling plants
    german fern

    Is this Java Moss?
