    Hi ! Folks ,

I saw some new species of sulawei shrimps at C328 yesterday. But some are dying as they are cram in a small cube . Thought of adding some to my new sulawesi tank, but I have a concern here was that the water use to pack the shrimp may not the right condition .

I have brought 10 nos from colourful were originally packed and currently still doing well , but at C328 , you have to net it to new water for packing & bring home. Isn't it wrong at start or too much risk here ?

    Buy or don't buy ?

Sorry to burst the bubble, but no new species. Just the old ones like "Redstripe", "Camo", "Cardinal" and "Harlequin".

How long have you been keeping them? They are not the easiest shrimps to keep to start with, the death rate is pretty high. So there are certainly some concerns when you have to catch and bag them.

    Buying Sulawesi Shrimp

    Hi ! Folks,

I have been keeping the cardinal shrimps for 2 weeks ! So far they are doing well and I had lost 1 to date.

I have brought the sulawesi rock together with the shrimps that give me a bit of confidence in keeping them.

Sorry ! Have not seen other species in LFS before so it is new to me. So looks like probably I have to bring my old tank water if were to buy those shrimp.
