From the screen looks red. till now 2 say red 1 says black.
Saved your picture to my computer. Open up with photoshop. did some color sampling for the shrimps as follow:
Left shrimp:
Red range - #ECA9B2,#F7A2A7,#E28F97,#F5AAA7
Center shrimp:
Brown range - #844C4D,#975533,#CE8E4E,#82413B
Both shrimp color falls under the same red spectrum.
I go for red![]()

Agree with Wei. looks like a BDS but not Pure black.
Best if you could post a few more photos.
Not red. It's brown, those CRS with more white hardly can get deep black, usually is varitaion of this color, reddish brown.

Blue Diamond Shrimp? That will be very interesting. Maybe you will show us one day.
By the way, how we grade this type of shrimp?
nice shrimp bro!!!![]()
black or red, nice can already! Hokkien language, "swee"
Could it be a cross breed of BDs and CRs?
Just thinking....
I wonder it is cross breed too, maybe when i am able to capture more photo, then can decide again whether is CRS, black diamond or what ever we called.
What other shrimps you have in the tank?
Cherry, BD & CRS. Today i found out something more peculiar on one of my mosura. The flower crown is black and the dot behind is red!!!! Unbeliavable! Trying to snapshot the photo, but somehow shy fellow hide itself. Will post the pic as soon as I got him!
