    2ft tank rescape

    Due to algae outbreak.
    I have no choice but to take the advise of the brothers here to fill up more.
    Wanted to grow the crypts but they are just too slow.

    Spec:
    ADA 2
    CO2
    6hrs light 24W T5HO
    27c


    Tank setup on the 5 Oct 2008


    Today, went to get some plants


    Back:
    Left : philippine fern
    Centre : mid size Crypt (dont know the name but brown in colour)
    Right : narrow leave fern

    Centre:
    Left: narrow leave fern tied to wood
    Left wood: spiky moss
    Centre: mid size crypt (dont know the name but green in colour)
    Right wood: spiky moss
    Right: Dont know what name

    Front:
    Left: small size crypt (dont know the name but green in colour)
    Centre: Dont know the name
    Right: small size crypt (dont know the name but brown in colour)
    In front of the wood: mid size nanas tied to stone













    Comments?
    What plants to use???? Arggggg......

    I like it alot, it looks wild Really diggin' the wood, great shapes.

    I think it lacks a distinctive foreground though, and the nana petites will be grown over possibly.

    The use of the nana is to cover the wood.
    Cant find shorter plants that can survive 24w lights which is kenna low.
    Any plants to suggest?

    C. parva is good if you have the patience to wait months (literally) for it to carpet.

    E. tennelus i would have thought should do fine. Survived in mine with quite low wpg.
