    Hi benny,

I suspect that yrs is a water problem. I had a friend who had the same problem. you might want to try changing 100% water from different source(if previous wc is fr common toilet, try master toilet). Friend's tank clear up instantly. He stays in Bukit Timah area.

but I have 2 tanks using the same source of water.
One crystal clear and 5 mths old
One still cloudy, and turning 6 weeks

Anyway, I just stuffed my filter with lots of cotton this time. Let see how it progress

looks I may have just discovered the source of the cloudiness.

Bacteria bloom may be one source, but I don't think its the dominant source.

Remember I talked abt the clouds of particles. I surveyed the tank again, and think I saw lots of small particles streaming from my drift wood area. This may be the cause of the cloudiness!!!

Have anyone got experience where your driftwood keep "smogging" particles?
I hope I am wrong as I hate to remove my driftwood, which is not only expensive, but also took a while to culture the java moss.

    Any suggestions???? Helpless.
