bro, do you have enough food for them??
bro, do you have enough food for them??
Might have been unhealthy when you bought them. I added 4 otos to my uncycled tank and they are doing great!
9 out of 15 gone !!!!
i guess it is because of the sudden overload of life stocks...
at least 20-30 cherries died as well.. tired to remove as many dead bodies as possible *SIGH*..
at least the remaining otos and shrimps started to feed on algae already..after changing 20% water.. good news for that at least...![]()
how big is your tank and how is your bioload and filtration?
4Ft tank
Jebao external cannister (Big one, for arowana type. cant remember model name)
Flora - Densely planted
CO2 - 2-3BPS for 10hrs
dKH - 4
pH - 6.6-6.8
ammonia, nitrite, nitrate (no test kit yet)
Fauna
100 harlequin rasbora
50 malayan shrimps
100 cherry shrimps
15 otos
2 dario dario
Wow...so many fauna for a 1week old tank? The BB may have not fully develop yet. Think you do a check on your ammonia and nitrate/nitrite levels and you may have an answer. Bless your remaining faunas....
I agree, you put so much fauna in a week old tank, probably have not fully cycled yet.
i have guessed as well, i think i'm really too anxious!
will test my ammonia and nitrate soon. my otos are doing well, finally! whew
I know the feelingbeen passed that stage
