Seems like speciemens with purple chins are difficult to come by now. Those are the best!

I just got a pair of red variant wild purple chin wilhelmi. They are very available in hong kong...I saw more than 5 wild pairs of purple chins there in different shops. When I asked one shopkeeper about it, he said that all wilhelmi have purple chins. Those without purple chins are actually something he calls "Bokko" (in cantonese), no idea what it is, but he says that it looks almost identical to wilhelmi, and many in the hobby are usually confused between the 2. This shopkeeper has about 15 years experience in the hobby, so i think he knows what he's talking about

when keep longer and more bigger, it has purple chin even wild and bred

the difference between wild and bred, their color will have much different, when
compare to them, you will find their color different, wild's color will be more saturate
and colorful.
as per my experience :

wild : very yellow head and very purple chin with red tail and shiny body

germany bred : yellow and purple chin with super red tail

bred : pale yellow head and pale purple chin with pale red tail
