Hi guys, my 6x1.5x2ft tank with assorted angels. My tank is located in the middle of my living room separating my dining and living room so that both sides of the tank can be viewed. So I always have problem in scaping the tank and can only plant big leave plants because of my nibbling angels.

    Anyway just a few pics

I have 13 different types of plants in my current tank.

Hope to get some comments. I got no base fertilisers because I have to filter the sand every 2 weeks so any base fertilisers will be wasted. So I only use super root growth balls as fertilisers.

The reason for filtering the sand is due to huge bio load in the sand?

Hi Fishking, is that lapis sand you're using? If it is, where did you buy them?

That is the normal colour of the sand...i actually tried to buy black sand to mix together...but bought the wrong type and most of the black sand got sucked away during my bi-weekly water change...

Sorry...I really have no idea how Lapis Sand looks like...the sand was bought more than 8 years ago and comes in brown colour sand bag packaging.

Oh is it?? Hahahaha....ehh...hope it is the same that we are talking about...

Eh...why they stopped selling?? I thought the sand was quite good...no need to wash also...it is already quite clean when it is new in its package.

    You're really the king

Which reminds me after seeing your thread on your critters giving birth, next time if i do open a seafood restaurant, can you be the livestock consultant? In that case, I only have to buy fish stock once, and they start breeding like crazy!
