IMO, i started off into this apisto hobby not long ago only, it has capture the interest of mine due to it's nice colouration.
Slowly i learn about their character, small in size yet big in character.

I do find that apisto are a class of it's own whereby other fishes may not replace them.

Every part of an apisto is nice to be hornest, it's not those fishes where we love at first sight, we have to learn them and slowly they indulge us wholely.

So what about the rest, dun be shy i know there are many people out there who keeps apisto too =)
    Cheers!

Although i am not a passionate apisto fan,i like the following fishes very much.
    1)A.borellii"Opal" (Yellowish chin,electric bluish body)
2)A "Inka 50" (The striking dorsal fin)
    3)A pandurini (The overall appearance)

IMO, there are many other beautiful dwarf cichlids which are not belong to Apistogramma sp such as Taeniacara candidi, nannacara anomala......etc.

    For me,

1)Cacas coz of the unique pattern of red blotches.
2)Elizabethae coz of the nice finnage.
