    Wait a while to see if the color settles down, if not it will be rare to see bluish yamatoes...

    Got this piece from NA at the Yamato tank, it showing dark blue and look different with the rest of Yamato, this piece don't have the usual dotted line and the yellow strip at the back, It's been 2 weeks now, the blue completely faded and now shown as the last picture.

    I do saw blue Yamato during my Hong Kong trip, and found out there are red Yamato too!

    Yamato shrimp at the end of the tail at both corner it should have a black dot each, dont think yours have it. Also at the side of the body it should have 2 continuous band at the side. Sometime in LFS they get mix up with other shrimp. Below is the pictures of Yamato.

    Hehe understand, now can only call this "yamato" since no one can ID this piece...
