Interesting... I note that they are a formerly endangered species, any other characteristics that they have?

These are one of the fishes that excites hobbyists. Our friend Nick move very fast.![]()
Have added 2 more pcs.
Here's all 12 of them in my 2x1.5 ft setup.

Wow, nice setup!

Nice fish....had not seen them for at least 2yrs+ after last buy from CF.
My impression is that these are not easy to keep as my last batch of 15pcs slowly died off after 4mths time. i guess they really need very clean water condition.

Nick, with a few more stones, you'd have recontructed their biotope...

Do do they tend to school together most of the time?
Yes, they are schooling fishes and will tend to move as a group.

Are these slow grower? given only 2cm....how long will it take to reach max of 11~12cm?
Maybe I need more. I noticed one individual seems to be territorial. But this link shows it schooling (at least that's what the title says it is).

They are also not biting on the algae chips I dropped in. Are they more omnivore or carnivore?

Bro, is this school belongs to you? wow...you brought the whole school...
No. It is found on youtube.
With so many, I must either strike toto or have a river to contain them all.
