I am from Singapore and atm am very very excited that I found this site. This really, could be the answer to my questions on a other forums.

First, let me say hi to everyone. I hope to learn more about newts and aquatic life. I have been pretty intrigued by them for awhile now and recently watching and learning about them on Youtube has peaked my interest. However, I wish to learn more before heading and getting some, if possible.

What really, makes me elated and hopeful now is that I notice that there are a few Singaporeans here. Is this a Singaporean ran-site?

AND!

I also noticed that some Singaporeans here are talking about newts and actually own them. Pretty please, tell me where you got them in Singapore, I am eyeing the firebelly ones. I understand that they may not be easy to take of but am willing to learn.

Hence you might not get anyone replying you on the availability of those animals. Especially since the mods here take great pride in their knowledge and capability to keep things in tight order and control.

Here, you can freely discuss about any species and plants in general. However, since the sales of certain species are prohibited, we would not want to encourage anything illegal. Besides, AVA personnel do go online to check and listing shops that sells them only get these establishment into trouble. I'm sure you won't want that to happen right?
