    A glimpse of my new babies..

    Uaru fernandezyepezi aka long-finned waroo
    Origin: 2 main river systems, Rio Atabapo in colombia and Rio Orinoco in Venezuela and Colombia.
    Size: 30cm( TL )

    How are you? sorry have been busy with work, catch up later, ok? They are F1s from States, Jeff Rapps. I was damn worried, cause I heard all the stories about the wild specimens but these are much better. I organised a mini MO over at AF a fortnight ago to get this.

    Actually there are a sizable community here just that most of them are in a different forum. Some specialised in central american and some south american, even african there are ardent followers. After cichlids forever closed down, they have been quieter only....

    I missed a shipment from Jason many years ago, this is probably my most fav cichlid...check out this link if you have not already read it....good luck with them and sign me up for F2s. How big is your colony?

    Great article, this is also my favorite cichlid. I have a batch of 5 now, quite expensive this specimens..hoping to have f2 soon too. Will keep you updated.

    hey, Mike, nice to see that they had settle well after your last MO buy. Hope that we can hear more of them...esp. of the breeding in the near future.
