Maybe one day, I will try to get a close up picture of that "flying fox" and someone will be able to identify that better.

BTW, flying fox or false SAE, they don't eat algae right?

Raphael, I can spot cos my 2ft, 3ft and 4ft tanks are all the same![]

If this's the tank that's sitting on c328's beige cabinet at the shopfront, then it's the Ocean Free set.

Check out their new cabinet (for 4ft tanks) that I just saw at Qian Hu this morning. I'm going to get this, with my next set!

And this's the one for their 2ft tanks:

    CoryFav,

I see. So, it is the Ocean-free tank.

BTW, you know after waiting for about a month for my 4ft cabinet, they still brought me the wrong one and I had to change the 2 ugly door and fix up a 3rd one in the middle! Luckily, the shop owner fork out his own pocket money to do that. []

Raphael, so your cabinet is the 3-compartment type? With doors on both sides and open-shelves in the middle? Thought it's all black, where's the 'ugly' part?

The one on display at the shop is... 2-door type, right? Mine's all black too, but also 2-door with 2 (bigger) compartments only.

Gee, one month is a long time for delivery! What's the reason given to you? Think I hardly waited 2 weeks, if I recall correctly. But that's from Petmart then, and Ben did tell me that the cabinet might not be the same as that displayed at his shop, which was 2-door but with a gap on top.

Hmmm... I was contemplating on ordering my next one from c328. But why one month?[:0]

Are these cabinets made by local carpenters? If so, the reason for the long wait could be due to CNY approaching. Usually the peak season for renovations and re-furnishing, plus most will remain close quite long after CNY.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    CoryFav/Vinz,
I am not sure why is the delivery so late. According to the owner, he had placed the order and it happened that he had no more stock of those cabinet and had to wait for the next shipment. Then the schedule delivery was mess up somehow and thus the delay. I order from Soon Heng in Henderson. The owner is good and had apologised to me many times over the month.

As for the cabinet, I don't like a hole in the middle (collecting dust and unsightly). And though the cabinet was black, it has 2 strip like the 2ft tank above. It looked nice but doesn't fit into my living room. Make the cabinet looked so "o-biang".

Anyway, the owner got a local carpenter to redo the 3 doors out of his pocket. [] [] []

vinz, my guess is these sets are made in china...

raphael, like i said, ben/petmart did tell me that yihu/qianhu will deliver the latest style of cabinet whenever an order is made. so i guess you got the latest, that is, like the one above except that it's black.

when i ordered my tanks before, the old styles were one solid colour, so i only needed to state beige, brown or black. hmmm... now i'll have to print and bring this pic to lfs when i'm ready to order! otherwise, make a trip to qianhu and check out the latest before i order.
