quoted from a cory website :

    Corydoras Care:

Corys require a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding places that provide relief from the light. A smooth sand or gravel substrate is needed because of the easily damaged barbells.
They enjoy being in numbers, so a small school of six or more is ideal for these cats.

I have tried, JBL, tetrabits and ADA AP food for my dwarf cories. They have no preference for the foods and would take any of the 3. However, i choose ADA AP for the fact that all my fishes take it readiy. Plecos, apistos, tetras, cories, wild bettas all take the ADA AP food.

I don't but cories do take algae wafers as well since they are not fussy eaters. But algae wafers should not be the main source of food.

my cories are never interested in algae wafers.

i feed them hikari lionhead sinking pellets instead. and they get really excited, sifting the gravel very vigorously in search of the pellets. heh heh.

of course, my greedy yamatos will be the first at the drop.

Yes, I get mine from Yun Feng at Tampines St 81. Comes in different sizes, the medium size one is around $8-10.
I recommend this because they are granular form and should be taken by corys easier as compared to wafers.

You guys really pamper your cories. Mine just whack whatever food I put in. Algae wafers will be gone in 5 mins tops. However, their most preferred food is still blood worms - but then it's not pellets, not mini and doesn't necessarily sink.
