According to wiki, clown loach is found in water with a temperature range of 25 to 30 °C, I'm keeping 5 in office with a temperature of 26 to 30 °C. In your case, can add a heater to maintain the temperature at that range.

If they get white spots what is the cure? heard that up the temp to 30? Any other medication needed?
Decided on planted tank for now

Increase temperature or add salt to the affected tank.

I have a few Clown Loaches in my office for the past few years. We do put in heater, else they will get white spot very easily...![]()
Thanks all for the advises, here is the update.
Got the heater on wednesday tested it out it could stablize the temp at 28 degrees.
Went ahead to buy 6 baby clown loaches on thursday, they were so cute when I saw them at the shop. Sadly when I released them in my office tank noticed that they had white spots!!
So set the temp to 30 degrees and added the blue color medication by another fish keeper in my office immidiately (half the dosage because clown loach cannot take too much of this medication).
Wanted to ask
1. if, by this morning the color of the water is no longer blue does it mean I must dose the blue color medication again?
2. Must I do water change?
3. For how long must I dose the medication?
4. Did the fishes get white spot because the transportation was stressful or was it a cold and rainy day when I bought them?
5. Any missing steps or stuff I must look out for?

1. if, by this morning the color of the water is no longer blue does it mean I must dose the blue color medication again?
>> Not necessary, check the dosage directions and instructions.
2. Must I do water change?
>> Not necessary, as usual, once a week will do.
3. For how long must I dose the medication?
>> Follow the dosage directions.
4. Did the fishes get white spot because the transportation was stressful or was it a cold and rainy day when I bought them?
>> They are stressful due to the new environment, they will be fine once settle down. Did you check all the loaches at the fish shop properly? Any of them affected by white spot? Ask the shop keeper if the fish are already stable. Always go to the shop that you trust.
Best to quarantine the loaches for 1-2 weeks before introduce them to the main tank.
5. Any missing steps or stuff I must look out for?
>> Add aquarium salt?
Thanks for the advise, they seem to be doing fine so far. No salt in the office thou. Set the temp to 31 degrees over the weekend hope to see them all alive on monday.![]()

Thanks all the brothers for their advises, so far no more white spots on all the clown loaches. But one of them seem very very thin and unable to eat any of the shinking pellets I placed in the tank... got I feeling might lost that one.
Did not manage to capture any clear shots of my fishes in the office as did not bring camera and my handphone camera is super blur. But here are pictures of the clown loaches in my home tank. There are 5 of them and managed to get them all in this photo. Will update with my office tank soon.
