My vote still goes to Jobe's Aquatic Plant Sticks. After my ailing red lotus burst from 2 inch wimp into a 2 foot monster in 2 weeks, i am converted.

Available at good plant nurseries (not LFS).

Does Jobbe's have fert sticks for aquatic plants? The one I have juz say 'Jobbes Plant Sticks'. Are they the same?

Anyway, I recomend Jobbe too but not to anyone that don't want to maintain your tank constantly.
    Cheers!!

Ya, it's a bigger pack with a picture of a water lily. And the stick is more like a fat tab. I get it from one of those nurseries at Thompson which sell pond setups. About $3 per pack of 7 or 8.

You just have to make sure fragments dun settle on top of the gravel or its algae paradise. It's best to use it as a long term (once every 3-4 month) fert boost for heavy rooters like lotuses, Nuphar, Echinodorus, Crypts. For stem plants, I think liquid fert is sufficient.
