Hi everyone, I'm also from Singapore.

I used to keep fish, but its been many many years since I've done so, I've reared Bettas, Guppies, Tetras, Cichlids in the past, gave up quite a number of years ago due to 2 tank failures.

For some inexplicable reason I decided to start again recently, but with Shrimp this time. I'm starting with Red Cherry Shrimp, but intend to try Red Crystal Shrimp after I've regained some confidence.

Going to be restarting this hobby with a smaller tank, 11 Gallon, Fluorescent lit, I'm in the process of getting it planted, and cycled at the moment.

I won't be putting in any shimp till the tank has cycled for a least a week, but I've planted some vegetation, Small ball of Java Moss, a Marimo ball, little Christmas moss and I want to try to create a thin carpet of Fissidens splachnobryoides.

I was hoping for advice from you old hands about stores that are good for shrimp or shrimp needs in the Serangoon / Bendemeer area? I got lucky and managed to find a traditional LFS who was able to order the CRS from their supplier.

But I'd like more options and places that carry more plants, specifically mosses, any suggestions in this general vicinity?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Fuzzy,

    Welcome to the forum.
If you're into moss, Bioplast is where you should go. Do a search in the LFS directory and you can get the exact address.

    Thanks for the tips guys!

I made a 1am trip to the mystical C328 last night, picked up some basic supplies, Polyart was..interesting, quite well stocked for supplies.

I had to search the forums to figure out what this C328 thingy was, and figured out finally it meant Blk 328 Clementi Ave 2. Heh

Checked out the Polyart webby and found out it was 24/7 craaaazy.

Now to figure out where this magical NA is hee.

Edit: Ahah! Nature Aquarium in Balestier. Anyone have experience at CRS Haven? How are their prices on A and S Grade CRS?

eeee ok point noted about CRSHaven.

Oh good god, I went to visit Bioplast. Old uncle there ignored me all the way. Everything has no prices. I asked for price on a 2x2cm square of moss, and he quoted me $30. Asked what type, he babbled something in Chinese at me.

He has a good selection, but I'm probably never going back there. Not just the pricing I'm sure his goods are quality, but the service and attitude I don't like, and I don't like shopping without prices posted.
