which external filter fits?

I been using OH filter for my 2ft planted for almost 6mths.

Since now got abit of $$$, thinking of getting external filter for fun because my OH didn't give any problem to my 2ft planted.

But the question is I planning a 4ft and intend to buy a external that can use in my 2ft first b4 transfer to my 4ft.

Thinking of getting cheap filters like Atman brand, I never use external filter b4 and afraid being cheated, pls help. []

if you do intend to get a larger tank, then i would say hold back on the filter first...an external cannister filter rating for a 2ft tank is pretty far away for a 4ft tank...should you get a 4ft capacity filter, it is too strong for a 2ft.
