In an article by Takashi Amano, published in The Tropical Fish Hobbyist, he mentioned "Aeration: For 14 hours after the light is turned off using Lily Pipe P-2" wrt one of his tanks. I have the following queries:

    a. Is the aeration to provide more oxygen for the plants to uptake?
    b. How is this effected? A pic will be most appreciated.
    c. Does his setup implies a secondary filter or powerhead?

    Thanks

Aeration is provide air circulation into the water. Usage of lily pipes will creates a vortex where normal air is mixed with the water. Question C, drop him an email?
