Hi wenwei, sorry for the late reply, was playing Gears of War 2 over the weekend! (off topic!!)
Anyway, I am injecting 2 bubbles per second.
My tank information so that you may compare better:
- 25L
- 2FT X 0.65FT X 0.68 - (Length X Width X Height)
- Nano Tank Setup: Riccia, Fisseden, HC and some creepers.
- X2 T5 24W/10K.
I cannot correct you on flow, as this is a personal preference and is something that all of us can debate on forever.
I personally believe that the flow-rate in the tank has too be good. It spreads the nutrients, kicks up all the "dust" as I call it so that the filter can suck it up. For me I put the rain-bar UNDER the surface of the water and face it up for the surface water agitation
I do not dose it with fertilisers (not regularly that is). Like twice a month and probably does not help that much as I change 10%~20% of the water 2 days. I leave the few fish to be the nutrients.
One more thing, it took me 6 months to get it right with the plant tank at work. The one at home is going thru numerous trial and errors.
I never think that there is one sure fire way. There are just too many variables.
My last Algae-stand with my tank was to change 10% of the water everyday for 5 days. The next week I did it 3 times, and the following 2 times.
Hope all this information and random thoughts help you.

dont think I will be using a reactor also.. i have this idea that good flow rate will bring about better growth. Not sure how true is it, please correct me if I am wrong.
