    Hi all,

Anyone have bad experience with Parallel Importers at (UBI)buying their car?

It's been 3 months and the Parallel Importers still doesn't wish to release my Master Keys for my car and they keep avoiding my call. it's so hard to trust PI and really regretted buying from them.

Anyone who wishes to buy new car better becareful

Maybe they will pass it to some crooks to replicate the key and go to your place to steal you car at a later date!!? Oh My God!!!

If you have settled all you payments, etc. Then go down and ask for the key. if they refuse. Call the police on the spot.

    Cheers,

Yes, totally agree with benny, you need to take a hardline approach to these people. Don't procrastinate anymore, get it over with ASAP.

    yo,

correct me if i am wrong. some new cars come with 2 normal keys (can open all doors and boot) and 1 serving key (can open all doors but not the boot).

which model you purchased? and what is the purpose of this master key? which PI you bought from?

If you have no oustanding with them, then the worst possibility i can think of is that your PI got your car from another importer. and maybe your PI has some outstanding due to the importer, hence the importer hold back the "master key".

If this is the case, i hope not. Since your car has been registered and your bank has paid the PI, you are liable for the loan your taken up.

On the other hand, your PI has no title to your car since he still has outstanding due to the importer. The importer may sue and retrieve the car.

If the above assumption is correct, things get messy. Bank want you to pay instalment, importer want to take possession of the car but your PI by then will declare bankrupcy............

just my wild guess, dont mean to scare you. hope i am wrong!

    cheers!

    yo benny,

unlikely they will do that. if they want to steal a car, they have thousand and one ways. whatever anti theft device you may install will be broken. i know they open my car door using a metal ruler when i left my key inside the car. how they do it? i dont know.

    cheers!

    Hey Koh!!

    How's life man!

I don't think they use metal ruler anymore right? I know the bendy wire hanger was useful. But you need to know how to insert and pull. Still will trigger alarm though.

good! how about you? long time no see huh!

i remembered he brought a long metal ruler (longer than the normal) and yes i think wire also. he will not allow you to see how he open the door and asked me to stay away from the car. within seconds he was done. very fast, very amazing. as whether it triggered the alarm, i cant remember.

    sorry fot the OT. haa.....
