    Hello

Does anyone know whether it would be possible to keep all three species (females esp) in a large enough tank without one tearing up the other?

    Thanks

its possible. as long as you do have a large enough tank that provides alot of cover and hiding spots for the fish.

for example, you can house 2 pairs of macro in a 4 ft tank.

Not advicable, because macrostoma might eat up imbellis and splenders.

it's not so much about eating, but maybe fighting and biting, terrorising the rest.

also, another concern is when the macrostoma is acclimatized, they tend to get to the food first and try to gobble everything quickly, leaving behind none or probably little food for the rest of the betta...

moreover, their tank set up is different. bubblenester prefers shallow, stagnant water iwth medium to high temp while macrostoma prefers deeper water with slight current and lower temperature.
