I think the temp reader in my chiller( reseun CL 450) is spoilt!! i woke up this morning and i went to check my tank and all.. i found out the the chiller's reading was 37.5 degrees!!! but the temp inside was like 22 degrees or so!!
Any one ever encounter this problem before ? how to deal with it?

does it mean that your chiller compressor keep running?

you can try to clean up the sensor, replace the sensor. If that does not work then either buy new one or use the external temperature controller.

yup, very easy, jus unscrew couples of screws on the sides. Remove the inlet and out let then you can take out the cover. Inside you will see box wrap in silver insulator with cable going in from the top. That is the sensor, just unscrew it.

by the way I'm assuming that your CL450 the same as mine CL280

the external temperature controller is basically cut off the main supply to your chiller when it reached the preset temperature. It has their own sensor than you need to put in the tank. It is more accurate in my opinion since you are measuring tank water directly instead of the water inside the heat exchanger. Cost wise isn;t that expensive, last time I check is $65 at sim lim.

Installation wise is relative to the person, it is quite simple for me but then I have electrical background.
