Yes, that's correct. The number of Younglings seems to depend upon the age of the mother crab. But 80 is doubted by us ourselves. Yet our second last young generation where about 40 young crabs.
If You want to separate the Younglings from the Adult (because of possible cannibalism) You should wait until they really leave their mother. After hatching the most stay there under the pleon for some days – even if they leave the mother they return for a while before they become independent.
