I've been keeping them for about 3-4 years now? Not very sure. Quite hardy plants and they tend to flower & pup every year. For some it may take quite a while. Nevertheless a great plant for people like myself, leaving it to the wild.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

You may want to visit www.greenculturesg.com, they have a section on Tillandsia (airplants). The people there are very knowledgable and willing to share on tilly growing tips. They also organise mass orders from time to time.

Another website you can visit is tillandsiabiotope.com.

Pls note that I am just another tilly lover. I am not here to promote any website/merchant.

Just mention my name at tillandsiabiotope, i'm sure they can do something about discount.

www.fcbs.org is a great place for ID. I went to Aussie to visit a veteran on tillandsia, he got a whole backyard of tilly. His name is Derek Butcher, if you need any help you can email him too.

    Cheers!

I have 2 surviving tillies (out of 3 bought few years back)... & they are doing fine (although not so lucky in flowering though...)

Nice plants for those (people like me) who keeps forgetting to water the plants... ;p

The base might rot after awhile. It's still best hanging them.
