Gen x have some tanks with taiwan moss backdrop.. not bad, quite nice... i am thinking of using java moss to do likewise for my 3 ft... any advice or warning? do i have to do the 2 sides oso to make it look even?

Anyway, for the sides, is the glass covered or blocked? From the back the walls may not look appealing. If you use Gen-X method of using filter plates, you will be able to see the sides of the plates.

opps.. thx for correcting. k..moss wall...i was tinking of splitting the area into 2 and using acylic sheet to tie the moss to... ya.. side of the wall will not be nice. tink dun do sides... but i m afraid the top portion will outgrow the bottom since the light will be lesser.. should i do the bottom, let it grow a bit then proceed to do the top? how regular is trimming needed?
