Hi I got these shrimps. Was told by supplier that they are not Crystal shrimps. Anyone has a close up of grade C black crystal shrimp for comparison? Thanks

Should be one of the species from Sulawesi. From far, look very much like a China Bee shrimp.

    Diamond Shrimp

Thanks silane, supplier did mention sulawesi. I think the black is solid unlike the diamond shrimps. Tail section as well.

    Look like white head bee?

    White Head Bee:

    Grade C Black Diamond:

Was told by an expert that one way to differentiate is by looking at the tail. The tail of White Head Bee are without those white dot.

Thanks, dont think its a grade C CRS then. Doesn't look like white head bee as well, the band is a solid black not brownish or speckled.
    Will ask supplier again.

Haha, too bad then, but indeed a nice piece. Since you mention sulawesi, you keep this at pH8?

It's not fierce at all and does not bully the other shrimps. But its large, twice the size of a grown cherry
