First International Shrimp Championship

Hello everybody,


in February, AquaNet.tv (Rainforest-Filmproduktion GmbH, Northeim) is organizing the First International Shrimp Championship, together with TMS (Messen-Kongresse-Ausstellungen GmbH, Dresden) as well as the magazines das aquarium (Braunschweig) and Caridina (Dähne Verlag, Ettlingen).
The contest will take place from February 6 to February 8, 2009, within the framework of the Pet Animal Fair Hannover. Every shrimpkeeper who has shrimp belonging to one or several of the 11 categories can participate. The show animals will be presented to the public in especially set-up tanks and will be judged by an international expert jury.

The category winners will receive prizes amounting to 300.-, 200.- und 100.- €.
There is an audience award in the amount of 500.- €, the best of show will win 1,000.- €.
