Anyone here has good or bad experience with singtel mio? Quite a bit of savings as most of us utilise the 3 components: home/land line, mobile and broadband internet.

Thinking of signing up but looking for feedback. Would you recommend it?

Quite no of my clients complained and regretting getting it, the house telephone line screw up, etc... problem, ended up the technician keep visiting them to solve the problem till now. How bad is it, i'm not sure. Btw i'm not in related fields for your info, so cant provide further detail.

Two negative comments from the very start! Many thanks for posting.

    Anybody with a positive experience?

Looks like I should give it further thought.

    Hi Bro,
My advice is not to get the Singtel Mio plan cause some place in the house, the connection are so low only one-bar connection. Sometimes, when too much people use the internet and phone together, its would crash, causing you to keep restarting the system couples of time before you are able to use it again.

    Just my piece of advice!
    Cheers!
    Keeping.

Been on it for closed to 2 yrs with no problem. But will be seperating the mobile line when contract expires next Mar. 3 in 1 really give you little flaxibility. Some times can only look at individual promo and drool.

The main problem lies in the advance technology,it is a digital voice system that required your phone, fax and whatever that is connecting to mio to be more advance type.I had rejected the whole system early this year as they advice me to upgrade my phone(to be cordless and few model available) and fax machine to expensive model inorder to be able to function well.
I heard that a lot of problem if connect to house alarm system that is not advance type.
Recently there are promotion that mio plan comes with free cordless phone....

All-in-one has its problems. If the mio modem is down for whatever reason (power failure, for instance), land line phone will be down. Will check if cordless offer is still on. Thanks.

One question, sunnydaze. Can you separate only the mobile service making it 2-in-1? Or are you going off the mio plan altogether?

I have been using it for about 2 yrs. No major problem, only once when one of the filter went haywire. As for usage, my 2 sons usually play online games at the same time.
One will be on skype and the other on land line talking with friends at the same time.
This is just base on my experience.

Once the box is down, all digital service will be down. If DNS is down Voice will still be availiable.

I plan to seperate the mobile for more upgrade flexibility. Will probably stay with singnet and you pay an additional $10.70 for digital voice when you are Singnet BB customer. Anyway, want to jump ship also can, Starhub offers free Voice service with their BB plan.
