Hi guys...I set up a "quarantine" tank of sorts using

    2Litre 15x10x20 betta tank
    Some GEX soil
    A fissiden "wall"
A "floor of taiwan moss held down with ricca stones
A mini GEX submersible airstone+filter running on a mini dynamax airpump
    A dolphin 5w lamp

About 15~20 shrimplets inside already.Think its workable??

Very sorry to hear that. Maybe the water was too acidic with the GEX soil?
    It should have been workable.....
Because I took out some sakura shrimplets and put them in a jar, they are fine.

Beetroot i don't think Gex soil was too acidic. The water might not be aged enough. And another reason could be that the air pump was too strong. The bubbles were as big as the shrimplets causing stress too.

    Hi,

Your setup seems alright from the way you describe it. The reason why your shrimplets died is probably because your tank has not mature yet. Let it run for 4-5 weeks first before you add any shrimps to the tank or you will see more dead shrimps.
