    Hello,

Would like to ask all apisto lovers out there how come my apistos eggies are not red ? Instead they're yellowish creamed colour. I always feed them hikari frozen bw, almost 2-4times a day. So its like 1 cube for a pair everyday.

I currently have 2 pairs, a.cacutuiodes tri/dbl red. Just an update my double red male/triple red female juz spawned. He He He.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Trevor

Simon thanks, I know its due to the food i feed. I already said mahz, no matter how much i pump them with frozen bloodworm, which contains high carotene. In turn the eggs will turn fire red.

    But why mine...........

Why don't you try feeding frozen brine shrimp instead. It has more beta carotene than bloodworms.

I've fed it to my bettas and noticed a improvement in the red compared to feeding on bloodworms.
